Pizza Villa Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Do not get a chicken salad there. Mostly shredded lettuce and three prices of chicken for 9 dollars very disappointed. Plus it was not busy and took over 30 min to get our food.

I know you can't please everybody but I could not find one thing wrong with this place. There beer was ice cold and cheap. my boyfriend got the Italian grinder and I swear it was the best we've ever had! Bread was soft and crusty like it's supposed to be. I got the penne pasta with sausage. Absolutely delicious! we live in Clearwater and had to do a job in Land O Lakes and if we ever come back we will certainly stop here again. Denise was also an excellent server. If you are ever in the area totally recommend. wish it was closer to where we live. Can't wait to try the cannoli when we get home for dessert!

We had the ribs and they were tender with great flavor. We also really enjoyed the Greek salad.

Great Pizza and great subs. The Mediterranean and supreme pizzas are awesome. The sub are awesome as well. The Greek Salads don't hold a candle to Stavros.

Underwhelming and mostly uncomfortable. Not much to say here. The food is decent, but it's certainly not worthy of regular rotation in the list of local go-to's. Portions are large, but nothing particularly stands out on the menu as the cuisine is highly-repeatable at any of the other Greek-inspired Italian joints in the area. As far as the wait staff goes, you are totally on their schedule. Nobody jumps to get you what you need, whether it is a table when you walk in or a drink refill. The younger servers do not understand children's nutritional needs (bringing a kid's broccoli portion completely saturated in butter). Dining room is old and cramped. Decor is in need of serious overhaul. If you like to connect with your local eateries and feel welcomed when you spend your money with them, I do not recommend Pizza Villa.

Excellent casual atmosphere and a really good sauce. Hard to find an italian food establishment that realizes that sauce is more than just a gallon sized metal can of tomato sauce and some dried italian seasonings from SAMs Club sprinkled in. Had the stuffed shells with meat sauce and meatballs. The great thing about this place is the portions and everything is covered In melted cheese. Just great tasting food at a fantastic price point. The atmosphere is a bit dated and in need of remodel but the taste of the food and the friendliness of the staff are more important to me. Hell what italian joint doesn't look outdated. Good food good portions good value. Mangia!!

I really like the pizza here. Usually go in on a Sunday when they currently have a special for a 3 topping pizza for $12.99. The crust is not to thick and not to thin, it is just right and taste really good. I also love their Greek Salad. Usually a small is big enough for me and my wife to split especially when we are getting a pizza. What makes the salad so great is their home made dressing. We even bought some to have at home. Super casual nice place to go with the family.

Mom & Pop restaurant that will bring you back to your youth rather quickly. If you were raised in Tampa you know how these restaurants look and work. They decor is lackluster but the food is like home cooking. There are a mix of Italian and Greek items and many different things to choose from. They Gyro is probably the best thing to order here. We brought the family with 3 little ones (5,3, newborn) The waitress was very nice and brought the kids over coloring pages and crayons without us even asking. We ordered a mix of both cuisines. We did a platter of spaghetti with sausage, the gyro sandwich and the greek salad. The food was filling but wasn't as flavorful as I would have hoped. The menu prices and specials outweigh the flavor if you have to feed an army of people.

Not the best place for pizza! We ordered a large cheese pizza....thinking we were getting a homemade Italian pizza pie, we picked out *tiny* box of pizza through the drive thru (only good thing about this place ). The pizza cost almost $14! Pretty sure this isn't homemade as it tastes like a hungry howies or dominos pizza...in fact save ur money and disappointment and just go to Howies instead. Will not be returning here!

Today was our first visit. We were in the mood for pizza so we thought we would try Pizza Villa. The pizza was really good. The atmosphere is like an old italian restaurant for Florida tourists but this area isn't a tourist area. They have a few TV's and the lighting above the tables is perfect. I'll be back to try Greek next time.

Where can someone in Lutz go to get some pizza? There are several places, this is the one we went to. Actually, we did takeout. Pizza Villa is a stand-alone restaurant with booth seating on Highway 54, serving both Italian and Greek food (I know, strange). Comfortable interior, and the staff I dealt with are all friendly and helpful. "The pizza should be ready in 15-20 minutes, you can come to the drive-up window." I did, and the girl who took the order immediately picked up the two large boxes and one small box of pizzas to give to us. Good service! My daughter had a small cheese pizza (thick and gooey), and it was too large for her to finish in one sitting (well, she *is* 8 years old). The rest of us had two larges with chicken ("chicken?"), bacon ("crispy"), and pepperoni. It was good, but the taste didn't really stand out, and the bacon overpowered everything. Not that I'm complaining; bacon is one of the four basic food groups, right? Total hit was just under $36, a typical price for this amount of pizza. I'd think you can do better in Tampa/St. Pete, but this is a good enough choice for North Tampa.

Very typical Italian and Greek fare for a good price. For Tuesday and Thursday dinner they have a pasta special for $4.99 which is a great value. The food is always served hot and, for the most part, is prepared exactly as requested. The wait staff is friendly and courteous. When in Land O' Lakes this is a great great stop for a fine, economical meal.

Ordered last minute before closing and was surprised they took my order and wasn't rude about it! Awesome! First time there and enjoyed a drive through pick up! Awesome service! Pizza dough is garlicky good and sauce was good. Toppings could be more plentiful since it was 3 toppings there wasn't much. Also for a large it wasn't as big as I hoped but the price was fair at $16. Overall I'll be back but I'll Oder more.

This is the second time we decided to give Pizza Villa a try and wish we had opted for something else. My husband and daughter both ordered pizza. My husband had the meat lovers and the meat def didn't taste like steak, as advertised. Not good. I got the chicken parm. Very underwhelming. The best part was the Greek salad. Even with 3 of us sharing, there was more than plenty to take home as well. Staff was nice. Inside could be updated slightly. When we were there they opened the blinds next to us, which had dead flies on the sill. Yuck

Slow service, but nice waitress. Complained about an awful tasting item. No apology, no care, and now the last time I'll dine there. The person I dined with advised against going there, but I insisted. Big mistake. I used to like the place so it's very disappointing. Salad was good, however. Hence, two stars instead of one.

Pizza Villa is a "Greektalian" restaurant, with both Greek and Italian fare. In my experience, this generally results in great Greek food and so-so Italian. Therefore, I chose the Greek route. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken-rice soup, and a gyro. The shrimp was served lukewarm (the waitress later stated that it had been cold, but was sitting under the heat lamp while it was waiting for pickup). I sent it back. The chicken rice soup was good, but oddly was intended to be chicken LEMON soup, but since apparently some customers do not like the lemon, the serve plain chicken rice soup with lemons on the side. Huh?! The gyro had tons of tzatziki sauce on it that gooped all over with every bite. I had to remove most of it to avoid getting it all over. That said, it was tasty once the extra sauce was gone. The lighting over the table is good when you are looking down, but if you look across the table (say, to converse with the folks you are dining with), the light is shining in your eyes and is annoying. I noticed that customers that were not alone tended to slide to the extreme ends of the booths, apparently to avoid this issue as much as possible. The restaurant has a lot of specials that may make it worth your time from a budget perspective, but overall, you can do much better.

Pizza was delicious, picked up 2 gluton free pizzas & 1 regular pizza . Ordered for carryout, Picked it up & they have a drive thru window that you can pick it up without getting out your car. When I ordered it I had a hard time with the girl on the phone. I was trying to order off the online menu, I was told someone hacked or added a menu for them with stuff they didn't make. Other than that problem right off the bat, everything else worked out & very tasty pizza!

I really like this Italian restaurant and that is saying something because my family is from north Jersey where the food will blow you away. The food here is truly authentic and you must try the rice pudding!

While I thought the food was good, the service could have been much better. We had to make a couple corrections to our orders, our water glasses were never offered a refill after sitting empty for quite a while, and upon paying for the meal I wasn't greeted with a smile, or friendly have a nice day. I go out to eat and want to eat good food, but also appreciate good hospitality.

My family and I have visited Pizza Villa in Land O' Lakes a couple of times recently. The first time we went we were disappointed on many levels and nicely told them so. The lady we spoke with was nice and apologized and asked that we try them again and give them another chance. We did give them another chance, last week, and regretted it. Here is why: The food, overall, is very disappointing. They claim "everything is home-made", but, when pressed for the truth, admitted to us that very little of what they serve is actually made there; basically only the pizzas (but not the crusts), soups, and salads. All the grinders are made from frozen, processed meat. Most of the appetizers are frozen, out of a box. I don't serve rubbish like that to my family at home, so why would I go out to a local mom-and-pop restaurant, where you would expect the food would be made there on the premises, and eat stuff like that? And on top of it they lie and say all their food is home-made? What is home-made about frozen, processed food? The non-homemade food tasted like something from a public school cafeteria, and the soups, which were apparently home-made, were bland and beyond tasteless. We were also shocked by the high prices. Lunch for two people, with no drinks, no dessert, and one appetizer shared by two people was just under thirty dollars? What's up with that? The wait staff were nice enough, but that does not make up for all the other problems. They also need to give the dining room and the kitchen a good, thorough cleaning. We did not use the bathrooms so I have no idea how clean or unclean they are. I think maybe at one time this place was a nice family-owned restaurant that took pride in their food, but now it seems they're just trying to squeeze an extra buck any way they can, both by serving crappy processed frozen food, and by hiking their prices. Too bad for them. We gave them a second chance, and they blew it big time. We won't be back.

My wife and I ate lunch yesterday @ Pizza Villa. My wife loves their Greek Salad and one of their Chicken with noodles and white sauce (sorry not sure what it is called). I have had their pizza several times in the past, good but i think West Shore is a alittle better. The have a pasta special several times a week for 5 or 6 bucks. It is a large serving and always tastes great.

Great Pizza, good prices, clean.... Not a date night place, more like a we are married and have 2.5 kids LOL! But we are never disappointed when we eat in or order out. We always get pizza and greek salad so I cannot review other menu items, greek salad is mediocre but pizza is great

I went with my parents, sister, and my boyfriend and we got the White Cheese pizza, which was super cheesy and fresh tasting. Huge pizza, we still have leftovers. I love their Greek Salad, it has ham, tomatoes, olives, feta, onions, tossed in a great dressing, the potato salad is a great addition. For dessert we had some canolis, whats best then a pastry filled with cream, topped with powder sugar and chocolate chips! Service isn't always great, hit or miss, but the food outweighs that.

The food is a great value for the price and makes up for what the Villa lacks in ambiance. Good place for a quick bite!

A good Greek/Italian restaurant reminiscent of the ones in west Pasco. The Greek salad is awesome, with homemade dressing that they bring to your table in a squeeze bottle so you can dress your salad to your liking. I have had the vegetarian grinder, which was on good toasty bread, the baked ziti which was excellent, and a cheese pita pizza. Everything is freshly prepared. The only drawback is the service, which has been kind of slow the last few times I was there for lunch. Otherwise, a great place to eat.

The service we got from Denise was exceptional. It was just about closing time and they took us in as a dine in. This was our first time here and always talked about going and finally went. The food was amazing. Best pizza place ever. We will definitely return. As we were eating, we noticed that the employees were all very friendly with each other and with customers and kept working and cleaning. By far one of the cleanest restaurants we have been to. Would highly suggest this place to friends and family and we will be going back soon. Thank you Denise for your true southern hospitality.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Greek Cuisine

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone.
